They have Guild Wars Factions up at £21.97 (says a saving of 27%) and Guild Wars Factions CE up at £42.74 which is only a saving of 5%.

Shipping cost would make up for the low cost, for the people in America that is.

I think I will order Factions from play.com which is at £27.99. However I'm not sure, I remember I bought the original GW at £17.99 when it was released (not pre-order)! Is it so expensive because it is a pre-order or what?

Thats because in America we don't have discounts on GW unless it has been 2 or 3 months past release date.

Well, Amazon.com has is shown at $44.99 instead of the usual $49.99 (and an extra $30 off if you sign up for a credit card). The reason I am leaning not to go that way is that I have no idea how much it costs for shipping. You have to pay extra to ship separately (because you want the preorder package first for the early access key instead of waiting until Factions is released) and then you want to pay extra for 1 day delivery unless you want to go without Factions for a few days waiting for it to be shipped.
Also, the Best Buy preorder online started out at $39.99 but was updated in a few days. I would bet that if people actually bought it at that price, they would end up charging an extra $10 later.

£21.97 Before Now £28.49.
Better hope they dont change the price for the CE as well.
Cos £29.97 for CE and £28.49 for Normal its a bit unbalance price.
And do you stand if they change the price for CE? u pay what it was advert when u order or you pay when its the final price? cos i am sure they dont charge until they post it.

i live in england and it is one of the worst countries for pricing in the world usually so high but when they do something like it this it is so cool and so odd
I also remember that tesco started selling the first lord of the ring dvd 1 week before it was supposed to be released

qft, Jersey has no sales tax, I couldn't believe how cheap stuff was there. There are many companies in Britain that base there online sales divisions in Jersey for this reason.

As far as I know thats the price you agreed to pay for the product, and they are obliged to give you that price.
Likewise if it is a mistake they are also obliged by trading standards to offer that price.
Also to all those wondering if this can be trusted Tesco pretty much equals Wal-Mart here, infact its bigger and better than ASDA, which is owned by Wal-Mart (and just so I can gloat, the guy who set up Wal-Mart is English, from my home town)
